Michael Flatley
Michael Flatley is an American Irish step-dancer who learned and started Irish step-dancing at a very young age. He is a very famous dancer with many accomplishments. Michael Flatley has choreographed and been in many shows such as Riverdance, Lord of the Dance, Feet of Flames, and Celtic Tiger. He has also won the All-Ireland Competition twice. Michael Flatley has achieved a record in The Guinness Book of World Records for having the most taps per second.(35 taps/s)

Catriona Hale
Catriona Hale was born and raised in Coventry
England. She started dancing at age three at the Doherty School of Irish
Dance. She has achieved many major titles in Irish dance such as 8
World Championships. Hale graduated from the Doherty academy of
Irish Dancing and has been in many shows such as Michael Flatley’s Lord

Stephen McAteer grew up in Toronto Canada and
started Irish Dancing at age seven at the Butler Academy. He chose
to start dancing to help him learn about his Irish heritage.
Stephen has won nine Eastern Canadian regional titles, six North
American Championships, two All-Ireland Competitions and two World
Championships. He has also has the opportunity to go on a world

Colin Dunne
Colin Dunne has been dancing since a very young age and has learned most of his training from the Marion Turley Academy of Irish Dance. When he was only nine years old, he won the World Championships, All Ireland and All England titles. He has won nine World titles, eleven Great Britain titles, nine All Ireland titles, and eight All England titles. Colin has danced with Michael Flatley in Riverdance and is known for his main dance number in the show called Trading Taps. After Riverdance he created his own successful dance company and has choreographed his own production called Dancing on Dangerous Grounds. |
Pat Roddy
Pat Roddy began dancing at the young age of four
years old. He learned his Irish dancing from his parents who were
also well known dancers, Tony and Una Roddy.
He was already in the World
championships at the age of eight. Pat Roddy has many
accomplishments. He has the Ustler title, the All-Ireland title,
the Great Britain title, and two world championship titles. He has
danced with the Riverdance company alongside his sister Niamh Roddy. |
Glenn Simpson
Glenn Simpson practically grew up on the
stage. He has won
five All-Ireland championship titles and seven Ustler Championship
titles. Simpson was a part of the original cast of Michael
Flatley’s Riverdance in 1995.
After dancing with Riverdance, he moved on to help
with the Shoe Gaelforce Dance in Sydney. He is also well known for
his performance in Dancing on Dangerous Ground. |
